🌍🤝 Get hands-on experience in global health diplomacy and international collaboration.
The World Health Summit (WHS) is looking for a Student Assistant in Strategic Engagement to support its Berlin-based team working with high-level stakeholders from politics, science, business, and civil society.

🧭 Key responsibilities
• Support communication with partners, especially regarding their participation in the World Health Summit
• Conduct research to support event preparation and delivery
• Assist with coordination of the WHS scholarship programme, including applicant communication and logistics
• Support invitation management and on-site coordination for exclusive events throughout the year and during the Summit
• Work with the WHS CRM system and related tools

👤 Profile required
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree (e.g. political science, international relations, health sciences, public/global health)
• Strong interest in global health (prior experience is an asset, not a requirement)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Confidence and professionalism when interacting with high-level international stakeholders
• High reliability, initiative, and motivation to learn
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Confident use of MS Office 365; Microsoft Dynamics knowledge is a plus

The Global Health Hub Germany and the Federal Ministry of Health are hosting the Forum Globale Gesundheit on 19 January 2026 from 12:30 to 19:30 in Berlin.
The forum marks the conclusion of the review process for the German Government’s global health strategy. Building on selected themes from the report, we will jointly look ahead to the future of global health architecture.
The forum aims to promote dialogue and strengthen collaboration between politics, science, private sector, civil society, youth, foundations, think tanks, international organisations, and other global health actors.

The event will take place in Berlin, with no online participation available. Please note that travel costs cannot be covered. The programme will predominantly be in German.

We especially encourage the youth to actively contribute their perspectives, join the discussion, and share ideas to help shape the future of German and global health policy. Key Tasks:
• Support in creating, planning and publishing social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube), incl. basic graphic design (e.g. Canva)
• Drafting and proofreading texts and visual content for website, newsletter and other materials
• Monitoring and documenting media coverage (national & international)
