The Medical Faculty Mannheim of Heidelberg University is recruiting a Student Research Assistant (m/f/d, 10–20h/week, Berlin) to support the junior research group “Climate Change and Health/Planetary Health” at the Center for Preventive Medicine and Digital Health. The position contributes to a study evaluating Kiezblocks (traffic-calmed neighborhoods) as a measure for climate protection and health promotion.
Tasks
• Assist with data collection, incl. hair sample collection for cortisol analysis during home visits.
• Support design of surveys (questionnaires, online surveys) and interview guides.
• Conduct literature reviews.
• Contribute to publications and presentations.
• Option to integrate mandatory internships or master’s thesis supervision.
Profile
• Enrolled in Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
• Confident with MS Office; structured, reliable, and well-organized.
• Willingness to travel locally in Berlin by public transport (driver’s license B desirable).
