I am conducting a citizen science mixed-methods study with participatory research steps during the My Body, My Brain, My Choices workshop (Hannover, September 17-19th) on taboos in women's and gender-diverse mental health. I would be grateful if you could share your insights and to others who might be interested in contributing or advise on other organizations I could reach out to.
Supporting Citizen Science Research: Taboos in Women and Gender-diverse People's Health
Despite scientific and medical advancements, women's health continues to be affected by stigmatization, misinformation, and political underrepresentation. We firmly believe: "Women and gender diverse people’s health is more than reproductive health."
We seek to understand and formulate ways to break down taboos surrounding women and gender diverse people's mental and neurological health in research and clinical settings. Please feel invited to fill out the short, anonymous survey with just two questions on your experience with taboos. Whether you are a clinician, researcher, or bring lived experience, your contribution will directly inform research priorities and a women's health platform.

Warm greetings from Ecuador.
I write to you not only as a member of this powerful network, but as a witness to a growing humanitarian and ecological crisis — the Hydro-Sanitary Collapse of the Machángara–Esmeraldas River system. This situation is now directly threatening the health, food security, and dignity of downstream communities.
We are asking for your support — your signature, your voice, your reach — to help bring international attention and urgent cooperation to this case.
Your commitment to cross-sectoral health, environmental justice, and planetary well-being is exactly the strength we need now. I thank you for being part of a movement that crosses borders and bureaucracies, standing for life wherever it is endangered.
This moment demands what I call a Hippocratical compromise: one forged not only in protocol, but in brilliant minds, unbreakable will, and a deep moral duty to confront systemic neglect and natural hazards alike.
If you are open to endorsing or amplifying this call, I would be honored to share the submission and coordinate next steps with you.
With respect and determination,
Darien Castro
