The upcoming GLOHRA Academy Series session will feature Dr. Isabel Mank from the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval). She will present insights from the evaluation of German development cooperation in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Her talk will explore how interventions address maternal and neonatal mortality, unsafe abortions, and gender-based violence in partner countries such as Malawi and Togo. Drawing on a method-integrative approach that combines country case studies with secondary data analysis, Dr. Mank will discuss the effectiveness and strategic relevance of Germany’s development policy and how evidence-based evaluation can foster more coherent, rights-based cooperation in SRHR.

The GLOHRA Academy Series takes place every first Tuesday of the month, offering a 30-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute Q&A for interactive exchange.
