    The event will explore the intersections of planetary health, including the environment, climate, urban health and global sustainability, featuring expert discussions and offering valuable networking opportunities with health professionals, master alumni and students from around the world.

    🥪 As part of European Public Health Week, taking place this week, the Public Health and Public Service section of the German Society for Public Health (DGPH) is hosting a series of lunch sessions. You can find the full program in this flyer: https://t1p.de/wxprp


    On Friday, the lunch session will be held in cooperation with the DGPH Student Section and the Young Professionals Network for Public Health. Staff members from the public health service will share their career paths after graduation and provide insights into their daily work.


    📆 The event will take place on May 16 from 13:30 to 14:30 (CEST) online.

    Save the Children and Women in Global Health will co-host a high-level side event during the 78th World Health Assembly, titled "Adapting for Impact: Health, Equality, and Rights in an Era of Uncertainty." This in-person panel discussion will take place at the Warwick Hotel, Geneva. A light breakfast will be served at 7:30 AM, with the formal program beginning at 8:00 AM.


    Bringing together global health leaders, youth advocates, and civil society representatives, this 90-minute session will explore how the global community can adapt to today’s challenges—ranging from resource constraints to shifting power dynamics—while continuing to advance progress on health, gender equality, and human rights.


    Featured speakers include representatives from the African Union Commission, WHO, UNITE Parliamentarians Network, and civil society organizations. The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Magda Robalo, Interim Executive Director of Women in Global Health.


    Please note: Attendance is in-person only, and registration is required. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
