🇩🇪 The German Federal Ministry of Health is seeking a Director (m/f/d) for the Federal Institute for Public Health (BIÖG) in Cologne.

🩺 Key responsibilities:
• Strategic, operational, financial, and personnel leadership of BIÖG
• Development of national health promotion, prevention, and crisis communication strategies
• Steering organisational change and further development of the institute
• Collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health, Robert Koch Institute, states, insurers, science, and international partners
• Representation of BIÖG in public, political, and professional bodies

👤 Ideal profile:
• Several years of senior leadership experience in public health, healthcare, science, or public administration
• Strong knowledge of the German healthcare and social system
• Experience with political decision-making processes and public sector administration
• University degree in health sciences, medicine, social sciences, economics, or similar
• German C2 and English C1 language skills
• Excellent strategic, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

💼 Salary: Federal pay grade B4 / equivalent executive-level salary
