The AOK Federal Association is hiring a scientific researcher for its research institute (WIdO) in Berlin, focusing on hospital care and financing. The role involves analyzing healthcare and contract data, developing and managing analytical tools (especially on hospital reimbursement), contributing to expert groups, supporting policy reform processes, and working on scientific projects.

Candidates should have a degree in economics, social sciences, or health sciences (or similar), strong analytical and empirical skills, experience with large datasets and project management, and knowledge of hospital systems and financing. German language skills at C1 level are required.

The position is permanent, full-time (38.5h/week, part-time possible), with up to 40% remote work. Salary ranges from approx. €77,000–€99,000 depending on experience, plus benefits (pension, bonuses, training opportunities).
