PAHO Consultant – Social Determinants of Health & Local Governance | Remote | Part Time | Apply by 22 March 2026 🌎
PAHO/WHO seeks a consultant to support the SDH Special Initiative in Guatemala, strengthening local governance, equity, and intersectoral action.
This is an off-site contract.
Key Tasks:
* Develop and implement workplan for SDH initiative; map actors and barriers.
* Document and systematize local implementation; generate reports and technical inputs.
* Support SDH monitoring system in selected municipalities.
* Strengthen intersectoral management and HMCC network implementation.
* Conduct Theory of Change workshops and case study evaluation on housing intervention.
* Travel as needed to support planning and events.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s in health, social, or environmental sciences; Master’s preferred.
* 7+ years national/international experience in public health, health equity, SDH.
* Experience with Theory of Change, local/community engagement, Indigenous/rural communities.
* Spanish fluency; English understanding.
* Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and IT skills (MS Office, SharePoint).
Contract: 31 March 2026 – 30 January 2027, partial 80% time, $41,500.
