The Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal is seeking scientific staff for the interdisciplinary project **HiLSA**: “Heat Competence for Vulnerable Groups in Saxony-Anhalt,” funded by the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE). The project aims to strengthen resilience against heat waves by promoting health literacy in vulnerable populations.

🌡 key responsibilities

* Conduct systematic reviews on heat, health services, and related topics
* Map the current landscape in Saxony-Anhalt (actors, data, measures, regulations)
* Collect and analyze qualitative study data, aligned with scientific research questions
* Support project coordination, workshops, and reporting/public outreach
* Prepare scientific publications and represent the project at conferences

🎓 profile requirements

* Master’s or equivalent degree in Public Health, Health/ Nursing Sciences, Epidemiology, Psychology, Health Services Research, or related social sciences
* Research experience in heat, health literacy, healthcare, or social networks
* Strong qualitative research skills (MAXQDA advantageous), quantitative skills a plus
* Experience with systematic literature searches and reference management
* Structured, careful, and reliable work style
* Proficient in MS Office; excellent German and English skills
* Team-oriented with strong communication skills
