Position: Part-time Group Leader (7.7–23.1 h/week) at the Institute for Hygiene and Public Health, Section Global Child Health.

Tasks:

* Lead a research group focused on intervention research in child and adolescent health.
* Conduct studies on low-cost technologies, chronic childhood illnesses, and infectious diseases.
* Identify optimal health care approaches and promote uptake of research findings.
* Focus on assessing interventions in resource-poor regions, especially sub-Saharan Africa/Malawi.
* Engage in teaching, clinical practice, and applied global health research.
Profile Requirements:

* Expertise in intervention and health systems research.
* Willingness to relocate to Germany (if living abroad).
* German tax ID required.

Contract & Start:

* Initial 3-year contract, TV-L EG 13 salary.
* Start date: As soon as possible.
* Potential for temporary increase in hours via third-party funding.
