The Bundeskoordinierung Spezialisierter Fachberatung gegen sexualisierte Gewalt in Kindheit und Jugend (BKSF), based in Berlin, is seeking a Project Lead.
📅 Start date: 1 June 2026 (later start possible by arrangement)
🕒 Working hours: 75% of a 39-hour week

⏳ Contract: Fixed-term until 31 December 2026 (extension intended)
💰 Salary: Up to TVöD-Bund 13, level 5 (depending on qualification and experience)
About the organisation
BKSF is the national coordination and advocacy body for specialised counselling services addressing sexualised violence in childhood and adolescence. It advocates for adequate nationwide support services and represents professional interests at federal level.
BKSF is funded by the Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ). The supporting organisation is the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Prävention und Intervention bei Kindesmisshandlung, -vernachlässigung und sexualisierter Gewalt e.V. (DGfPI), a non-profit professional association with around 700 members nationwide.
Key responsibilities
* Management of the BKSF office
* Budget and project funding management
* Responsibility for grant applications and reporting in cooperation with the supporting organisation
* Acquisition of project funding and financial resources
* Professional supervision of BKSF office staff
* Coordination between office staff, professional associations, cooperation partners and the BKSF advisory council
* Contact person for the Federal Ministry (BMBFSFJ), policymakers, associations and the professional community
* Representation of professional policy interests at federal and state level
* Quality development and assurance (including quality standards) and implementation in practice
Candidate profile
Required:
* Degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Psychology, Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Sociology or comparable qualification/experience
* Expertise in sexualised violence in childhood and adolescence, including knowledge of relevant structures and dynamics
* Experience in organisational development and project/grant acquisition
* Knowledge of public funding law and experience with grant applications and financial reporting
* Experience representing professional policy interests at federal and/or state level
* Confident public presence in political, academic, committee and media contexts
* Structured, independent and team-oriented working style within participatory structures
* Willingness to travel nationally
