Research Associate – Global Child Health | Witten/Herdecke University | Application deadline: 11 November 2025

Witten/Herdecke University (UW/H) – Germany’s first private university and WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Child Health – is seeking a Research Associate (m/f/d) to join the team of the Friede Springer Endowed Professorship for Global Child Health. The 80% part-time position (32 hrs/week) is initially limited to two years, with the possibility of extension. 🌍👶

🎯 Key tasks:
• Design, develop, and evaluate digital learning tools and e-learning modules in global and public health.
• Advise academic staff on multimedia and didactic methods (e.g., microlearning, gamification).
• Coordinate and contribute to European and WHO/Europe research projects.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for health professionals and educators.
• Ensure quality assurance and accessibility of digital learning environments.

🧩 Profile requirements:
• University degree in health sciences, education, instructional design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in digital learning development (e.g., Articulate 360, LMS such as Moodle or ILIAS).
• Knowledge of modern didactics and digital education technologies.
• Experience in international or European health projects.
• Excellent English skills (other European languages an asset).
• Strong intercultural competence, teamwork, and structured working style.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and temporarily relocate to Germany if abroad.
