The Global Health Investment Corporation (GHIC) is recruiting an Associate / Senior Associate to join its Catalytic Health Investment Platform (CHIP) — a mission-driven initiative investing in innovations that address the health needs of underserved populations in low- and middle-income countries, with initial funding of up to €60M.
Key Responsibilities
• Source and assess global health investment opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence, including market analysis, valuations, and documentation for decision-making.
• Support negotiation and execution of investments and grants.
• Monitor and manage portfolio performance, drive LMIC impact, and foster synergies.
• Prepare quarterly/annual progress reports and manage stakeholder communications.
• Engage with partners (e.g., KfW), organize events, and support external communications.
• Contribute to platform development and cross-team collaboration.
Profile Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or finance; advanced degree (MBA, MD, PhD) preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in investment roles, ideally in healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience working in low- and middle-income countries.
• Strong financial modeling and corporate finance skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-cultural, interdisciplinary teams.
• Passion for global health and impact investing.
