The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) is seeking a Research Associate (d/f/m) for its Center for Cancer Registry Data (ZfKD) in Berlin. The role focuses on a European project to improve the use of cancer registry data, including cross-country comparative analyses. A PhD in cooperation with a university is possible.
Tasks
• Analyse and evaluate cancer registry data.
• Collaborate with national and international project partners.
• Present findings in national and international research settings.
• Support project leadership with interim and final reports.
Profile
• University degree in mathematics, medicine, statistics, epidemiology, or related field (foreign degrees must be officially recognised).
• Strong statistical skills and proficiency in statistical software (ideally R).
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• German and English at C1 level.
• Desirable: experience with oncology or cancer registry data.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Fixed-term contract until 31 August 2028, part-time (75%, 29.25h/week).
