The German Red Cross (DRK) is hiring a part-time Instructional Designer to support the development of digital learning content for its National Relief Society, with a focus on volunteer education, first aid training, and civil protection. Youâll contribute to digital education formats used in both national and international DRK programs, working closely with the digital learning officer.

⢠Design and develop digital learning materials (e.g., web-based training, videos, interactive modules)
⢠Provide instructional design consulting to internal departments
⢠Create storyboards and scripts for e-learning content
⢠Use authoring tools like Articulate and H5P
⢠Coordinate project timelines and stakeholder communications
⢠Evaluate and improve existing digital learning offers
⢠Support the DRK emergency coordination center during major incidents (if required)
â Candidate Profile
⢠Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Media Education, or a related field
⢠At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in digital education
⢠Strong understanding of instructional design and digital learning methodologies
⢠Proficiency with authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS)
⢠Strong communication skills in German (English a plus)
⢠Self-motivated, structured, and eager to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
⢠Willingness to work flexibly (evenings/weekends if needed)
⢠At least 50% in-person attendance at the Berlin office is expected
