Join the Robert Koch Institute’s Mental Health Department in a Federal Ministry of Health-funded project on the systematic monitoring of suicide attempts in Germany. The project uses survey, insurance, hospital, and police data to assess trends, risk factors, and commonly used methods and locations.

🔍 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze survey and routine health data using multivariate and time-series methods
• Design statistical analysis frameworks and manage datasets
• Co-author scientific publications and project reports (German and English)
• Liaise with data holders and manage data access requests
• Present results at conferences and engage in national/international exchange
đź§ Candidate Profile
Required:
• Master's (or equivalent) in Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
• Experience in statistical/data analysis and management
• Skilled in R and/or Stata
• German C1, English C1 or the willingness to acquire further German/English skills - we support you with language courses
• Strong interest in public mental health
Preferred:
• PhD
• Experience with healthcare routine data and other statistical software
• Collaboration with data stakeholders
