Advisor for Child and Youth Welfare (m/f/d) | German Red Cross (DRK) | 6 June 2025
The German Red Cross (DRK) is hiring a Child and Youth Welfare Advisor to join its Children, Youth & Family Team. This role is part of the Department of Youth and Social Welfare and focuses on strengthening and developing DRK's extensive network of over 1,900 childcare centers.
Contract: Full-time, initially limited to 2 years
Salary: DRK pay scale EG 12 + benefits
Start Date: As soon as possible
š Key Responsibilities:
⢠Design and implement innovative projects in childcare and youth services, focusing on staff recruitment/retention and digital solutions
⢠Lead a project to develop model kindergartens on themes of anti-discrimination, democracy, and diversity
⢠Develop and run (digital/analog) training offers for professionals in DRK institutions
⢠Support digital transformation in early childhood education
⢠Manage public communications (website, newsletter) and participate in relevant working groups and committees
š¤ What You Bring:
⢠Degree in social sciences or similar, ideally in Social Management
⢠Experience with digital project development in child/youth welfare
⢠Familiarity with federally funded projects and working in associations
⢠Strong conceptual thinking, communication, and facilitation skills
⢠High affinity for digital trends and social innovation
