Regional Adviser | WHO EMRO | June 4, 2025
The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking a Regional Adviser to join its Climate Change, Health & Environment (CHE/CEHA) Unit in Cairo, Egypt. This is a full-time, fixed-term position (1 year) with the potential for extension based on performance and funding.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Advise countries on environmental health policies and frameworks.
• Coordinate technical support on air quality, chemical safety, and public health emergency preparedness.
• Lead capacity-building, research, and monitoring initiatives.
• Build partnerships and represent WHO in advocacy efforts.
👤 Candidate Profile
• Master’s degree in Public Health with specialization in environmental health.
• 10+ years of international experience in environmental health monitoring, policy, and risk assessment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Expertise in air quality, chemical/radiological safety, and health systems.
