The Department of Epidemiology and Health Monitoring at the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) is currently looking to fill a position for a student assistant (m/f/d) for up to 20 hours per week. The hourly wage is €12.96 in accordance with the collective agreement.
Project information:
The Joint Action Prevent Non-Communicable Diseases (JA PreventNCD) is a European Union-funded initiative involving 25 European countries. It aims to strengthen national and European capacities for preventing cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs). It is structured into ten work packages (WPs) with hundreds of pilot projects and collaborative tasks.
RKI is leading the evaluation work package (Work Package 3). This involves conducting surveys with member states, organising workshops, analysing data and writing reports, among other things. More details on the project can be found on the project website:

Your tasks:
Support in organising and preparing workshops
Support in planning, conducting, and following up on meetings
Creating presentations and conducting literature research
Assisting in analysing data
Assisting with writing reports and publications
Requirements:
Current student pursuing a master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, economics, social sciences, business administration, or comparable)
Interest in public health, international projects and evaluation
Very good written and spoken English and German skills
Independent, proactive and thorough work ethic
Desirable:
Experience with statistical analysis and statistics software (e.g., R, Stata)
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods
