    🔍 About the Project
    This study investigates social contact patterns and health-related quality of life among residents and staff in nursing homes, aiming to understand changes caused by influenza or flu-like illnesses.

    đź§© Your Tasks
    • Conduct on-site or telephone interviews with study participants using prepared materials
    • Document responses using data entry software
    • Support the study team with administrative tasks, organizing, data processing, and literature searches
    • Work in pairs, accompanied by an experienced researcher during facility visits

    đź§  Your Profile
    • Enrolled student with an interest in public health, elder care, and observational studies
    • Experience communicating with elderly people (e.g. in nursing homes/hospitals) is a plus
    • Excellent German communication skills (native level); good English skills
    • Willingness to travel across Germany for approx. five 1-week trips (travel expenses, accommodation, and per diem covered)
    • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
