  • 📣 Student Assistant Positions (40 hrs/month) at Charité – Starting June 1, 2025

    The Institute of Medical Sociology and Rehabilitation Science at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin is hiring two student assistants starting June 1, 2025, to support the BMG-funded PEDNET-LC project focused on improving care for children and adolescents with Long COVID(-like) illnesses.

    🗓 Start Date: June 1, 2025
    📌 Application Deadline: Not specified – early applications encouraged
    💼 Contract Duration: 24 months
    💸 Pay: According to Charité’s student assistant pay scale
    📍 Location: Berlin

    🔧 Key Tasks:
    - Conducting literature reviews and systematic searches
    - Supporting evidence syntheses and creation of educational intervention materials
    - Organizing and assisting with data collection, management, and analysis
    - Preparing presentations for conferences and project meetings
    -Assisting in public outreach and communication materials
    - Organizing project meetings

    🎓 Your Profile:
    - Enrolled student (from 3rd semester) in Public Health, Health/Social Sciences, Psychology, Medicine, or a related field
    - Interest in medical sociology, health services research, and child/adolescent health
    - Experience with qualitative/quantitative research and relevant software (desirable)
    - Skills in systematic literature search (desirable)
    - Proficiency in MS Office
    - Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
    - Very good written and spoken German and English

    💡 Students are encouraged to work on qualifying theses (e.g., BA/MA/MD) within the project.
