The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is offering an internship in the Global Health Sector Project with a focus on Digital Health, supporting the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

📝 Main Responsibilities:
• Support BMZ’s advisory work on digital health in development cooperation
• Prepare and update analyses, briefings, and speaking points in both German and English
• Conduct research on trends and debates in global digital health
• Coordinate meetings and communication with BMZ and international partners
• Assist with content planning and follow-up for expert events (including virtual)
👤 Candidate Profile:
• Enrolled in a relevant degree (min. 4th semester) such as public health, medicine, medical informatics, or political/social sciences with a digital health focus
• Strong interest in global health policy, digital innovation, and international cooperation
• First experience through internships or academic projects, ideally in development or global health
• Confident in writing concise, policy-relevant texts in German and English
• Analytical, proactive, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
• Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication, and a respectful team player
• Fluent in German and English
