Africa Partnerships & Engagement Manager/Senior Manager | CEPI | 24 September 2026

🌍 CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) is looking for an Africa Partnerships & Engagement Manager/Senior Manager to support the organisation’s Africa regional strategy and partnerships in global health and health security.

📍 Location: London, UK or Oslo, Norway

⏳ Contract: 12-month, full-time fixed-term position
✈️ Travel: International travel to CEPI offices and partner organisations as required

🔎 Main responsibilities
Support implementation of CEPI’s Africa regional strategy, ensuring alignment across R&D, manufacturing, access and other workstreams. Coordinate collaboration across internal teams and ensure regional priorities align with CEPI’s overall strategy. Build and maintain relationships with African regional and national partners and stakeholders. Develop strategic documents, presentations, briefings and internal communications. Prepare updates for senior leadership and facilitate strategy and engagement processes. Develop and monitor programme workplans, milestones and delivery risks.
Coordinate meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagements and manage related communications. 🤝📊

🎓 Profile
Bachelor’s degree in public/global health, policy, communications, finance, international relations or a related field; Master’s desirable. Preferably 5–10 years’ experience in global health and health security, particularly working in Africa or with African institutions. Knowledge of the global health ecosystem and experience with partners in Africa or other low- and middle-income countries. Experience in strategic partnerships, project/portfolio management and governance processes. Strong stakeholder-management, networking, negotiation and coordination skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including scientific writing. Strong MS Office and project-management/data-analysis skills. Excellent English; French is an advantage. Able to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments. Proactive, diplomatic and accountable approach.
