🔎 Main responsibilities
Lead the Research Unit for Long-Term Care Insurance, currently comprising 18 employees. Manage and coordinate various model programmes for the further development of long-term care insurance. Oversee the Competence Centre for Digitalisation and Long-Term Care. Strategically develop the research unit in response to challenges in long-term care policy, healthcare policy and research. Lead interdisciplinary teams and support the transfer of research findings into practice and policy.

🎓 Profile
Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, economics, health sciences or nursing sciences; PhD desirable. Experienced, decisive and resilient leadership personality, with empathy, diplomacy and experience managing interdisciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of the German healthcare and long-term care systems, social self-governance and digitalisation in healthcare/long-term care. Experience organising, evaluating and implementing research and funding programmes, preferably in health or long-term care. Strong communication and skills in transferring research results within change processes. Analytical, conceptual, solution-oriented and service-focused approach. Excellent German, minimum C1 level.
