The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) is seeking a Scientific Researcher specialising in survey methodology and data analysis (m/f/d) to join its Centre for Study Management (FG 21) in Berlin.

πŸ“Š Key responsibilities: The successful candidate will contribute to the Pinokijo project, developing and piloting nationwide monitoring of child and adolescent health. Tasks include designing and supporting surveys, sampling and data quality assurance, statistical analysis of complex study designs, developing reproducible reports using R/R Markdown, preparing scientific publications and presenting findings at conferences.

πŸŽ“ Profile: Applicants should hold a relevant university degree in social or economic sciences, with a focus on empirical research, survey methodology or a related field. Experience with empirical studies, R/R Markdown, statistical software such as SAS or Stata, complex sample weighting and scientific publishing is required. German at C1 and English at B2 level are expected. Experience with longitudinal/panel/cohort data and child and adolescent health is an advantage.

πŸ’Ό Contract: Full-time (39 hours/week), fixed-term until 31 December 2027
