Resource Mobilization & Strategic Engagement Officer | Unitaid | Application deadline: 16 September 2026
🌍 Unitaid, the global health partnership hosted by the WHO, is seeking a full-time Resource Mobilization & Strategic Engagement Officer (P3) based in Geneva, Switzerland.
🎯 Main responsibilities: Build and maintain strategic relationships with donors, governments and other external partners, including G7/G20 stakeholders. Monitor global health and international development developments relevant to Unitaid. Coordinate stakeholder engagement, meetings and high-level events. Track partner commitments, activities and collaboration opportunities. Support Unitaid’s Next Generation Financing agenda and efforts to secure predictable, high-value funding. Prepare briefing notes, talking points, concept notes and contributions to Board and governance reports.
Maintain communication and follow-up with strategic partners.
👤 Candidate profile:
University degree in international relations, political science, development studies or a related field. At least 5 years’ experience in external relations or partnerships in an international context. Proven experience engaging governments, parliamentarians, civil society and development actors to increase funding for development. At least 2 years’ experience related to public health. Strong experience producing strategic written materials and organising high-level/multistakeholder events. Strong understanding of partnership management, external relations and strategic communication. Excellent analytical, strategic writing and stakeholder-management skills. Experience in global health is desirable. Knowledge of WHO/Unitaid partnership and communication procedures is an asset.
