The Institute of Social Medicine and Health Systems Research (ISMG), Faculty of Medicine at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, is seeking a Scientific Coordinator to lead the evaluation component of the interdisciplinary research project:

🦷🎵 "MUSIK – Strengthening Oral Health through Inclusive and Coordinated Care: A Model for Coordinated Dental Care for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Severe Multiple Disabilities"

🔍 Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the scientific and organisational implementation of all evaluation modules and partner institutions
• Provide methodological guidance to project coordinators and consortium partners
• Plan, organise, and monitor quantitative evaluation activities, including a randomised controlled trial (RCT)
• Coordinate and ensure quality assurance of primary data collection (surveys and examinations)
• Manage quantitative data collection and the integration of statutory health insurance and physician billing data
• Analyse data using statistical software such as R, SAS, or Stata
• Prepare scientific publications and reports
• Disseminate project findings to scientific and stakeholder audiences

✅ Required Profile:
• PhD in Medicine, Psychology, Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related discipline with a focus on health services or health research
• Strong expertise in quantitative empirical social research, epidemiology, and/or statistics
• Solid knowledge of the German healthcare system and its structures
• Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• Strong organisational skills, ability to work independently, and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to maintain regular on-site presence at the institute

• Several years of experience in scientific project management
• Experience coordinating large-scale research projects and multi-partner collaborations
