CharitƩ is seeking an experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to co-lead a research team focused on promoting healthy child development through early childhood education interventions.
š Key Responsibilities:
⢠Co-lead a small research team focused on children's healthy development
⢠Coordinate and represent the project externally in partnership with a non-profit foundation in early childhood education
⢠Design and implement a population-based intervention in daycare centres and kindergartens to strengthen children's self-regulation skills
⢠Develop assessment tools to evaluate kindergarten environments related to self-regulation
⢠Manage project administration and funding processes in collaboration with grants management teams
⢠Lead and supervise international scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals
⢠Present research findings at national and international conferences
⢠Opportunity to teach and pursue a habilitation at Charité
ā Required Profile:
⢠PhD (or equivalent) in Public Health, Health Sciences, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Social Sciences, Medicine, or a related discipline
OR
⢠Degree in Psychology plus completed psychotherapist training
⢠Several years of experience in qualitative and quantitative health or developmental research
⢠Strong expertise in child and adolescent health, development, or healthcare research
⢠Proficiency with relevant research and statistical software
⢠Excellent analytical, strategic, organisational, and communication skills
⢠Ability to work independently and collaboratively
⢠Excellent written and spoken German and English
ā Desirable:
⢠Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating complex interventions
⢠Experience supervising research assistants or junior researchers
