A leading interface actor between science, politics, and development practice is looking for a **(Senior) Policy Advisor** to translate robust evidence into practical policy recommendations for administrative and parliamentary stakeholders.

📍 Location: Berlin (alternatively Bonn) + remote
⏳ Workload: 80%–100%
🚀 Start date: 1 July 2026 (latest 1 September 2026)

Key Tasks

📝 Prepare and translate rigorous evidence into:

* Policy briefs
* Background discussions
* Stakeholder materials

🤝 Support evidence-based policy advice and contribute to development policy processes in Germany.

### Profile Requirements

✔️ Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in:

* Development policy
* Public affairs
* Political consulting
* Development organisations

⭐ Ideally with experience at organisations such as:

* Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
* Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
* KfW
* Parliamentary environments

✔️ Experience independently preparing rigorous evidence for policy content
✔️ Structured and reliable working style with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams
