💧 Part-time (flexible) fixed-term role ( elsewhere with right-to-work). Salary: €60,000–€65,000 pro-rata + benefits.

🌍 About the role
Support WaterAid’s international programmes by building partnerships and securing funding from German institutions. You’ll help grow a strong pipeline of opportunities and position WaterAid as a key partner in development cooperation.

🛠️ Key tasks

* Build and manage relationships with German stakeholders (e.g. GIZ, KfW) 🤝
* Identify funding opportunities and monitor strategic developments 💡
* Develop partnerships with NGOs, consultancies and EU-funded initiatives 🌐
* Support joint bids and co-creation projects (climate & humanitarian sectors)
* Provide strategic advice and internal guidance 📊
* Promote inclusion, equity and safeguarding principles

👤 Profile requirements

* Experience working with German development institutions (e.g. GIZ, KfW)
* Strong network in Germany’s development/INGO sector
* Knowledge of international development cooperation
* Fluent German & English (written and spoken) 🇩🇪🇬🇧
* Strong communication and analytical skills
* Values-driven mindset (collaboration, integrity, innovation, etc.)

➕ Nice to have: knowledge of WASH, climate, health or humanitarian sectors
