🌍 Berlin-based full-time role (39h/week) with the German Red Cross supporting international humanitarian health projects. Start date: as soon as possible. Contract initially until 31.12.2027 (extension planned).
🩺 role overview
Provide technical expertise for global health programmes, with a strong focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), public health, and community-based approaches. Ensure projects meet international medical standards and contribute to innovation and impact.
🛠️ key tasks
* Advise and support design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of health projects worldwide
* Develop and track quality indicators for health interventions
* Support country teams and strengthen global partnerships
* Create guidelines and document best practices
* Organise trainings, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives
* Drive innovation, knowledge sharing, and coordination with stakeholders
👤 profile requirements
* Degree in Public Health or related field
* Qualified midwife or nurse with SRHR experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in humanitarian aid/development (incl. field work)
* Strong project management and public health expertise
* Experience with trainings/workshops and partner collaboration
* Fluent English required; German, Arabic or French are assets
* Willingness to travel internationally (incl. challenging environments)
