The Medical University of Brandenburg (MHB) is seeking a research associate for a guest professorship in Public Health Services (ÖGD), based in Rüdersdorf near Berlin. The position starts immediately, is full-time (part-time possible), and fixed-term until 31 December 2026.

The role focuses on helping shape and develop a new professorship in public health, contributing to research, teaching, and structural development. Tasks include supporting analysis of public health services in Brandenburg, acquiring and managing research projects, publishing scientific work, developing curricula, integrating public health topics into teaching, and coordinating with students, faculty, and health authorities.

Applicants should hold a degree in public health, health sciences, epidemiology or similar, with strong research skills (qualitative or quantitative), and interest or experience in public health services. Additional expectations include knowledge of literature research, project funding, and stakeholder collaboration, along with strong communication, organisational skills, and very good German (C1/C2) and good English (B2/C1).
