Welthungerhilfe is seeking a part-time (80%) **MEAL & Research Expert** to strengthen its Anticipatory Action programmes across multiple countries. The position is based in Bonn or Berlin, starting 1 May 2026, with a contract running until 30 April 2029 (with strong extension prospects) ๐Ÿ“….

๐Ÿ” Key responsibilities

* Lead and harmonise MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) systems across projects
* Support partner organisations in implementing MEAL frameworks and data-driven approaches
* Facilitate learning, knowledge exchange, and evidence generation across countries ๐Ÿค
* Coordinate evaluations and ensure quality standards in data, reporting, and learning outputs
* Build partnerships with universities and research institutions to strengthen scientific impact ๐ŸŽ“

๐Ÿ‘ค Profile requirements

* Degree in social sciences, humanitarian action, or related field
* 3โ€“5 years of experience in MEAL or research in humanitarian/development contexts
* Strong background in data analysis, participatory methods, and impact assessment
* Willingness to travel internationally โœˆ๏ธ
* Excellent English and French skills
