The Aktionsbündnis Seelische Gesundheit, operated by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, Psychosomatik und Nervenheilkunde e. V. (DGPPN), is seeking a project coordinator for its Berlin-Mitte office starting 1 June 2026. The organization is a nationwide initiative promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting affected individuals and their families, in collaboration with over 180 partner organizations from self-help groups, psychiatry, psychotherapy, health promotion, and policy.

Responsibilities include coordinating ongoing projects, developing and implementing new initiatives, documenting and evaluating activities, managing communications and public relations (press texts, newsletters, social media), maintaining partner networks, organizing and supporting meetings, and planning conferences and public events. The role involves team-based responsibility within established organizational structures.

Candidates should hold a university degree in Public Health, Social or Health Sciences, Media, or Communication, with several years of project coordination experience, preferably in psychosocial contexts. Additional experience in public relations, network management, event organization, scientific writing, and familiarity with Office tools, CMS, and social media platforms is expected. Strong communication, collaboration skills, structured working style, responsibility, and initiative are required.
