The Robert Koch Institute is seeking a technical assistant for its MF 3 team, focusing on animal experimental research and 3R principles. The role includes establishing and leading immunological laboratories up to BSL-3, coordinating personnel and resources, overseeing regulatory compliance, developing and optimizing laboratory methods, supervising staff, conducting lab work and animal experiments, and contributing to research projects on immunology and 3R principles.

Candidates should have a recognized technical assistant qualification (CTA/BTA/MTA/VMTA) or equivalent, with multi-year experience in molecular and immunological techniques (ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry, cell culture), lab management, and scientific organization.
