Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin is recruiting several Study Nurses for the nationwide research project “PrävPfleg – Prevention of Long-Term Care Dependency through Prevention Nursing”. The project is funded by the Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss (G-BA) Innovation Fund and focuses on developing and evaluating new care models to prevent long-term care dependency.
Multiple fixed-term positions will be based across Germany (Berlin, Cottbus, Chemnitz, Düsseldorf, Heilbronn, Münster, Oldenburg, and Würzburg).
tasks
• Recruit potential study participants in cooperation with the Medical Service
• Conduct study visits independently in participants’ homes
• Carry out standardized and validated study assessments
• Maintain study documentation and independently organize appointments
profile requirements
• Completed professional training in nursing or a therapeutic profession (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, therapy, or health sciences
• Practical experience working with older adults (e.g., home care or home visits)
• Knowledge of standardized survey or assessment tools
• Experience in research studies is desirable
• Confident use of MS Office
• Strong organizational skills, structured working style, and ability to work independently in interprofessional teams
• Empathy and strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel regionally (approx. 50 km radius) and work flexibly/mobile

• Contract: fixed term for 27–28 months (project-based)
• Working hours: part-time (55% or 75% – approx. 21.18 to 28.88 hours/week)
• Salary: pay grade E9a (TVöD VKA)

• 30 days annual leave and company pension scheme
