The bff: Bundesverband Frauenberatungsstellen und Frauennotrufe is seeking two project officers (Referent*innen) for a federally funded model project on **psychosocial court support in domestic violence protection proceedings. The positions are based at the organisation’s office in Berlin and start as soon as possible. The project runs from 1 March 2026 until 31 December 2027.
The bff is the umbrella organisation of around 235 specialised counselling centres for women and girls affected by violence and works in awareness raising, training and policy advocacy on gender-based violence.
Tasks
• Coordinate and implement the model project in close cooperation with the project lead
• Ensure adherence to timelines, milestones, quality standards and budget
• Organise and moderate regular exchange formats with regional coordinators, advisory board and scientific partners
• Support cooperation between the national level and four model regions and facilitate knowledge transfer
• Contribute to project documentation, preparation of results and interim/final reports
• Support the organisation of professional events, workshops and networking formats and help develop information and training materials
Profile requirements
• University degree (e.g. social sciences, law, political science, social work) or comparable qualification
• Intersectional feminist perspective
• Experience in feminist project work and/or NGO work related to violence prevention, victim protection or social/justice systems
• Experience in facilitation, networking and cooperation processes
• Knowledge of counselling/intervention centre structures and/or family court procedures and protection proceedings
• Experience or knowledge in the field of domestic violence and/or psychosocial court support
• Good IT skills, ability to work independently and willingness to travel for work
