The Centre for Planetary Health Policy (CPHP) in Berlin is seeking a Scientific Researcher (50–100%, 19.5–39h/week) starting 1 April 2026, initially for one year with a strong prospect of extension.
🔎 Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyse EU and German policy processes related to planetary health, including sustainable pharmaceutical policy and climate adaptation
• Produce policy and health science publications and analyses
• Advise political decision-makers and stakeholders
• Identify policy windows and develop transformation strategies
• Contribute to public affairs and communications
• Organise events, manage projects, coordinate partners, and engage in network and committee work
• Support fundraising and proposal writing
👤 Profile Requirements:
• Degree in health economics, law, political, social, or health sciences
• Proven expertise in health policy/governance, sustainability or climate governance, ideally within EU contexts
• Experience in science-based policy advisory
• Strong analytical and evidence presentation skills
• Fluent German (C2) and English (C1)
• Based in Berlin, willing to travel, and motivated to engage in political networking
