UNFPA is seeking a Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Innovation Specialist (P-3) to join the WomenX Collective within the Innovation and Transformation Branch. The position is based in Berlin, Germany, and offered as a Fixed Term Appointment.
๐ Key responsibilities include:
Providing technical guidance to shape and implement the WomenX Collective strategy
Identifying, assessing, and supporting innovative and scalable SRH solutions, particularly for women and girls in low- and middle-income countries
Supporting project design, calls for proposals, pilots, and scale-up initiatives
Ensuring quality standards, ethical compliance, monitoring, and reporting
Contributing to strategic analytics, knowledge management, and ecosystem building
Collaborating closely with UNFPA teams and external partners across sectors
๐ค Profile sought:
Advanced university degree in public health, medicine, social sciences, epidemiology, or related fields
At least 5 years of relevant experience in SRH innovation, programme or project management
Strong knowledge of innovation approaches (e.g. human-centered design, portfolio management)
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
Familiarity with the UN system is an asset
Fluency in English required; French and/or Spanish desirable
