The Federal Joint Committee (Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss – G-BA) is seeking a Pharmaceutical Administration Officer (m/f/d) for its Pharmaceuticals Department, full-time and permanent, starting as soon as possible.
đź“‹ Key tasks:
• Support committee, working group and subcommittee (“Pharmaceuticals”) meetings
• Assist in preparing decision and resolution documents
• Organise administrative procedures, monitor deadlines and maintain documentation
• Review and handle (highly confidential) submitted documents
• Create statistics and analyse databases
• Support calculations of annual treatment costs for pharmaceuticals
👤 Profile requirements:
• Degree in Health Sciences or comparable qualification or vocational training as an administrative specialist or in a medical profession (e.g. nurse, PTA, MTA) with relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of the health care system, medical terminology and pharmaceutical care
• Ability to understand and apply drug-related information (e.g. dosage)
• Confident use of databases and Microsoft 365 (especially Excel); experience with statistics
• English language skills at B1 level or higher
• Desirable: knowledge of pharmaceutical billing and diagnosis coding
