📍 Location: Würzburg, Germany
🕒 Workload: Full-time (part-time possible)
📄 Contract: 2 years fixed-term, with option to extend (start: as soon as possible)
💼 Pay scale: TV-L (public sector)
🤝 Setting: Joint position across the Institute of Medical Data Sciences (ImDS, University Hospital Würzburg) and the Institute of Clinical Epidemiology and Biometry (IKE-B, JMU Würzburg)

What you’ll do
• Support planning, implementation and analysis of projects in multi-centre, interdisciplinary research networks
• Develop concepts to use routine clinical care data for clinical-epidemiological and health services research studies (incl. validation and implementation into care)
• Conduct accompanying evaluation research on impacts for patients, relatives, quality of care and the health system
• Plan and run statistical analyses with experienced biostatisticians and clinical epidemiologists
• Contribute to publications and conference presentations
• Support teaching and continuing education activities at IKE-B

Profile required
• Master’s/Diploma degree in Medicine, Health Sciences, or a related field (ideally with a quantitative focus such as Health Data Science, Biometry, Epidemiology, Public Health)
• Interest/experience in planning, conducting and analysing epidemiological or health services research studies
• Strong skills in common statistical software (e.g., R, SAS); database knowledge is a plus
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and team spirit
• Very good English (written and spoken) required; interest in clinical research and teaching welcomed
