The German Society of Urology (DGU) is looking for an experienced Scientific Researcher (Senior Researcher) to strengthen and further develop its guideline work within the UroEvidence team from Q1 2026. The position is based at the DGU office in Berlin-Zehlendorf, can be full- or part-time, is initially limited to two years, with the possibility of extension, and offers partial home office options.
🔎 Key Tasks
• Independent leadership and coordination of projects in evidence-based guideline development
• Methodological and content support of DGU S3 guideline groups
• Planning, conducting and supervising systematic literature searches and evidence assessments
• Preparing and critically appraising evidence reports
• Further developing processes and quality standards in guideline work
• Close collaboration with clinical expert groups, medical societies and methodological partners
🎯 Profile Requirements
• Completed university degree (e.g. Health Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Information Science or similar)
• Several years’ experience in evidence-based medicine, guideline work or clinical research
• Solid knowledge of methods such as systematic reviews, study appraisal, GRADE & evidence synthesis
• Experience in project management and coordinating interdisciplinary teams
• Strong scientific writing skills, structured and reliable working style
• Team-oriented, communicative and responsible
