The Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) is recruiting a Head of Division (w/m/d) for Division L6 “Focal Topics” at the Berlin office, starting as soon as possible. The role focuses on high-priority health policy issues, especially health workforce security.
🔍 Main tasks:
Leading the division and coordinating internal workflows; managing key health policy topics of strategic importance for BMG leadership (especially workforce policy); handling tasks assigned directly by the Minister.
🎯 Profile requirements:
Master’s/Diploma in political, administrative or social sciences; several years of experience in a federal supreme authority; strong expertise in workforce policy; ability to present complex matters clearly; solid understanding of political processes (parliamentary experience is an advantage). Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, reliability, flexibility, willingness to travel, and readiness for an extended security clearance.
