Key responsibilities:
• Write and edit high-quality, in-depth journalism on national health policy
• Conduct research & policy analysis, incl. legislative/regulatory developments
• Pitch stories, build sources & develop exclusive reporting
• Shape diverse and thoughtful coverage with high editorial integrity (no clickbait)
• Co-produce the daily specialist briefing Tagesspiegel Background Gesundheit & E-Health 📑🔎
Profile requirements:
• Proven journalistic experience and strong editorial skills
• Independence, objectivity & attention to quality
• Strong interest in political & regulatory processes
• Experience in German health policy preferred
• Team-oriented mindset, reliability & resilience (incl. occasional evenings/weekends)
