The Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) is seeking a Policy Officer (f/m/d) for the Department “Multilateral / Global Health Policy” in Bonn or Berlin, starting as soon as possible.

🧭 Main Tasks
• Work on multilateral cooperation and the UN reform process
• Represent Germany in G7 and G20 health matters
• Support international health policy processes and UN conferences (esp. in New York)
• Lead and coordinate negotiations with international organizations
• Shape and coordinate Germany’s positions on global health policy

🎓 Profile
• Master’s or university degree in Political Science, Health Sciences, or Medicine (preferably with international focus)
• Strong knowledge of international organizations and multilateral cooperation
• Fluent English, French an asset
• Ideally: experience with EU or international work, negotiations, and high-level conferences
• Personal strengths: analytical skills, intercultural sensitivity, resilience, initiative, and teamwork
