selko e. V. seeks an experienced Social Worker/Advisor (m/f/d) to help build and run the new counseling service “Beratung & Hilfe bei Postviralen Syndromen” from 1 Jan 2026 in Berlin Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. You’ll collaborate with two partner counselors (Landesvereinigung Selbsthilfe Berlin; Kiezspinne FAS e. V.)

🧭 Key tasks:
• Project setup & concept development for the counseling service.
• First contact, information & individual counseling for people with Long/Post COVID, ME/CFS & other post-viral syndromes and their families.
• Network building with professionals, self-help groups, and health/social actors.
• Plan & run events (talks, workshops, courses) on psychosocial and social-law topics.
• Public outreach (flyers, website, articles).
• Quality & finance support (inputs for reports; standards monitoring).
• Support self-help (group referrals, new group formation).
• Representation at regional/national meetings.

🎯 Profile requirements:
• Degree in Social Work/Social Pedagogy/Education (or similar).
• Project management experience (health/social sector ideal).
• High empathy for people with chronic illness; structured, solution-oriented, self-reliant.
• Strong teamwork, organization, flexibility; experience with self-help networks a plus.
• Knowledge of Long/Post COVID, ME/CFS desirable (not mandatory).

📝 Terms & benefits:
• Up to 39.4 hrs/week; pay grade E10 TV-L.
• 30 vacation days + 24 & 31 Dec off.
