Kooperation Global is seeking a (Senior) Policy Advisor to join its team starting 1 January 2026 (latest 1 March 2026). The organization promotes evidence-based and impact-oriented German development cooperation, helping ensure that public funds are allocated where they achieve the greatest measurable effect.
Key responsibilities:
• Shape German development policy through evidence-based recommendations.
• Analyse budget data and international evidence to prioritise cost-effective programmes.
• Translate rigorous research into politically actionable proposals and communicate findings to policymakers, ministries, and civil society.
• Manage projects independently from conception to policy implementation.
Profile requirements:
• Strong background in development cooperation and public policy.
• Excellent analytical, political, and communication skills.
• Experience engaging with government institutions and policy stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience with BMZ, GIZ, KfW, or similar organizations; familiarity with impact evaluations, cost-effectiveness analysis, and global health and development financing.
