Amnesty International Germany is hiring: Diversity and Anti-Discrimination Specialist (m/f/d)
📍 Location: Berlin (Head Office)

📄 Contract: Fixed-term until February 28, 2027 (15 months), with potential extension (9–12 months)
⏱️ Working hours: Full-time or part-time (30–35 hrs/week)
Key responsibilities
• Advise on diversity-oriented organizational development, inclusion, and anti-discrimination
• Implement the IDEA framework (Inclusion–Diversity–Equity–Access)
• Design and coordinate preventive and empowerment measures against structural discrimination
• Support complaint and advisory structures, trainings, and workshops
• Lead projects on diversity, inclusion, and anti-discrimination in cooperation with management and volunteer committees
• Contribute to international Amnesty exchange, reporting, and monitoring
Profile requirements
• Academic degree or equivalent qualification in diversity, anti-discrimination, or gender studies
• Expertise in diversity, anti-discrimination, intersectionality, and organizational development
• Knowledge of discrimination structures (e.g. racism, sexism, ableism, classism)
• Strong advisory, facilitation, and communication skills with an empathetic and reflective approach
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Experience in training, project management, and working with civil society/activism preferred
• Familiarity with AGG (General Equal Treatment Act) and accessibility/inclusion processes desirable
