About the role
The Institute is seeking a doctoral researcher to join the PRO*ACTIVE project, in cooperation with the Clinic for Psychiatry, Social Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. The study evaluates a psychotherapeutic intervention aimed at accelerating the return to work for people with depression. The doctoral candidate will focus on health economic evaluation, process evaluation, and elements of outcome evaluation, working at the intersection of health services research, health economics, and psychiatry.

Key tasks
• Conduct and analyse quantitative and qualitative research (e.g., routine data, surveys, interviews, focus groups).
• Prepare scientific publications and conference presentations.
• Disseminate results to academic and public audiences.
• Collaborate with institute researchers and project partners.
• Contribute to teaching in relevant areas.
• Participate in interdisciplinary training (Public Health, quantitative methods, economics, epidemiology).

Profile
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Economics, Social Sciences, Psychology or related field.
• Skills in quantitative and/or qualitative health services research methods.
• Solid statistical knowledge and experience with SPSS or R.
• Good command of German and English (spoken and written).
