Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Germany is hiring a Humanitarian Advocacy Support Officer to strengthen its Berlin-based Advocacy Unit. This position supports the strategic development and execution of advocacy efforts related to humanitarian crises and global health, with a focus on political analysis and stakeholder engagement.

📍 Location: Berlin | 🕓 Full-time (40h/week) | 📅 Start: 15 October 2025 | ⏳ Fixed-term until February 2027

🧭 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement advocacy strategies for humanitarian and cross-cutting issues
• Monitor and analyze political developments in Germany and globally
• Draft internal briefings, memos, and external policy documents
• Engage with political decision-makers, civil society, researchers, and MSF partners
• Plan and coordinate advocacy events and political dialogues
• Support the Unit Head with administration, reporting, and knowledge management
• Coordinate with interns and trainees

✅ Profile Requirements
• In-depth understanding of German political landscape and humanitarian actors
• Knowledge of humanitarian principles, global health, and development policy
• Experience in advocacy strategy and political communications
• Strong analytical, editorial, and organizational skills
• Comfortable with administrative tasks and teamwork
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
